The non-profit organisation Kinderhilfe Königstein & Hochtaunuskreis e.V. supports children and families who experience acute emergency situations. Whether they need school supplies or money to afford sport or other educational activities, the non-profit organisation is here to help, especially when government assistance is not available.
After the original launch of their website, the design and functionality was very much outdated and needed a total redesign to better connect with their audience. The main focus of this project was to create an emotional experience for site visitors as well as to implement a clear and intuitive user-experience, which allows potential donors and people who are seeking help, to immediately find the resources and contacts they are looking for.
While the overall branding stayed the same, Lux Expressions. supported the client with a new site architecture, a powerful and emotional user interface as well as a fresh imagery aligned with their brand profile to allow a seamless user experience. The website was developed in WordPress with a custom theme, so that the client has maximum flexibility to easily edit and adjust the different site components themselves, like changing content and images, adding new blog posts or pages.
